K9 BOLO

Handler: Deputy Padilla

Deputy Padilla has been with Denver County Sheriff's Department since 2005. She and her K9 partner BOLO have been working together for since 2016 in the K9 Unit. BOLO's specialty is narcotic and cell phone detection. He is a German Shepherd, born in 2015.

We are currently working on increasing BOLO’s stamina through a strength and conditioning program. BOLO's work environment is very unpredictable and challenging which requires him to be in optimum condition. Our GOAL for BOLO is injury prevention. He has previously had an injury to his right hind leg and thanks to his conditioning, this injury does not limit his performance.
