K9 Boomer

Handler: Deputy Trujillo

Deputy Trujillo has been with Denver Sheriff's Department since 2005. He and his K9 partner Boomer have been working together for since 2022 in the K9 Unit. Boomer is a single purpose Explosive Detection K9 for the Denver Sheriff Department. K9 Boomer's primary responsibility is to protect the citizens and the employees of the courthouses of the city and county of Denver.

K9 Boomer is a German Shorthaired Pointer, born in 2021. He loves chasing birds in the backyard and visiting his fellow employees that he protects at the courthouses.
